Parenting Tip from Dr. Jennifer Cardinal

Don't let summer fizzle out. Stay consistent with your parenting plan. Make statements when giving directions rather than giving hints or asking questions:

                        Correct Example: "When you pic up your toys we'll go to the park."
                                                    "I need you to pick up your toys."
                                                    (Present in a confident manner and expect compliance)

                        Incorrect Example: "If you pick up your toys, we'll go to the park."
                                                     "What about picking up your toys."

Things Are Coming Along

We are currently awaiting the opening of our new office! Right now we have painters hard at work creating a relaxed and welcoming environment for our patients. Once this is complete the carpet layers will be in to install our new carpet! Things are coming along nicely and we can't wait to start serving our community.
